In this role you will join a growing team of developers implementing advanced analytics capabilities and data services for the FICO... platform. You will need to be an experienced front end developer interested in the challenges of creating innovative user interfaces for data intensive business analyst software that work equally well on-premises and as SaaS on the FICO Cloud. Your work will have significant visibility and be crucial to achieving the roadmap and revenue targets for the product. Service teams within FICO and external clients will deliver multi-million dollar projects based on your work and you will become the go-to expert when they need advice. You will join a very successful and highly regarded group of developers based in the UK, and interact with services and engineering teams globally. This role, as a member of a cross-functional Scrum team focused on analytic software development, will suit a developer with experience in JavaScript looking to enhance their skills while authoring innovative software within a Scaled Agile environment. What You Will Do Enjoy making a significant coding contribution to the architecture and end user features of complex event driven user interfaces for FICO’s enterprise software tools for business analysts. Author end user components, an in-house Rapid Application Development tool, a custom Domain Specific Language and interfaces to advanced back end services. Solve user centric design challenges, collaborating with stakeholders to create features which meet the requirements and corporate standards. Research and evaluate new technologies to improve both the product stack and developer productivity tooling. Create high quality, verified implementations with unit and automated behavioural tests. Have the opportunity to learn new skills in other functional areas of the product. Participate in the agile Scrum process, delivering planned sprint work to the Definition of Done. Code reviews and pair-programming as appropriate. Contribute to 3rd level support for Clients and Client-facing internal teams. What We Are Seeking BSc in Computer Science/Software Engineering or similar/related discipline or equivalent experience. Significant experience in a JavaScript software development role enhancing a multi-user web-based commercial software product. Significant experience of using a MV* JavaScript framework e.g. Knockout, React, Vue. Significant experience of styling and layout for user interfaces with HTML5 and CSS. Significant experience of authoring tests with unit test frameworks e.g. Jasmine, Karma and automated behaviour test frameworks e.g. Cucumber. Experience of Scrum and associated agile development processes and methodologies would be an advantage. Experience of Angular development would be an advantage.
