You can view our development , Town Halls and conversations .Want to know more You can follow along on Our Status .The roleWe re looking for a hands-on Engineering leader to lead a new project, the Status Network - the decentralized, open, trustless backbone to all of the Status features we plan to implement in the future.Youll be leading a a dedicated, distributed team responsible for developing, launching and maintaining all components required for a fully featured implementation. If you re passionate about open source software, p2p technologies, and cryptocurrencies this role could be for you.ResponsibilitiesLeading and overseeing the engineering team responsible for the Status Network, a blockchain infrastructure project.Ensure that the decentralized team is structured in a way to maximise collaboration, with minimal coordination taxEstablishing policies and procedures that produce secure, high-quality software.Ensuring a secure launch, and maintaining the Status Network as it gets deployed.Being hands on by writing, testing, and deploy high-performance networking code.RequirementsExperience leading software engineering teams (5+ years)Experience in Golang (Go) and Solidity preferredBackground in (embedded) systems programming, p2p technologies, familiarity with modern cryptographyExperience developing high performing distributed systems designExperience in privacy and security technologiesStrong technical skills, and a willingness to get hands-onComfortable working in a remote teamRead more
