Mainframe Security Support Analyst – Job Description
• Primary responsibility will be digital certificate management, securing the connections between mainframes and other services within the enterprise
• Communication and teamwork are essential
• Secondary responsibility will be regular Analysis and Review of security data and reporting

• Third responsibility will be ad-hoc SAS scripting in support of reporting and project implementations
• Proven ability to learn and understand SAS is required

Mainframe Security Support Analyst – Mandatory Skills
• Experience in Mainframe technology - 4 years
• Experience with digital and SSL connections - 2 years
• Scripting in SAS language - 2 years
• Strong communication skills
• Incident Management - Detects and classifies incidents, monitors and tracks through to resolution - 2 years
• Application Break/Fix - provides 24x7 rotational on-call security support - 4 years
• Attention to detail and high personal standards for accuracy
• Strong organizational, follow-up and priority-setting skills to handle multiple tasks/projects independently
• Adaptability to shifting priorities and tight deadlines with minimal supervision
• Self-motivated and team-oriented

Mainframe Security Support Analyst – Nice to Have Skills
• Technical understanding of ACF2 and/or RACF
• DB2 or SQL
• Security implementations - managing access and security configuration
• Unix experience - 1 year
