The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Partner Sales Account Manager to join us in New Delhi, India. In this role, you will develop and maintain relationships with channel partners and regional system integrators (SIs) while... promoting Red Hats solutions and services to customers through partners. Well need you to have solid communication skills, as you will show how our technologies can be integrated into the partners systems, while explaining how open source delivers value to their customers. As a Partner Sales Account Manager, youll also define the Red Hat value proposition for key solutions providers, value-added resellers (VARs), and channel partners. The geography that you will cover is the North India region. Primary job responsibilities
• Grow and develop the channel ecosystem in North India
• Ensure Red Hats resources in partner organizations from a segmentation, capability, and capacity perspectives
• Develop and implement joint business plans to increase revenue on our technologies and ensure partner engagement with top partners in the region
• Manage rebates and various central programs aligned with corporate guidance to promote pay for performance through SI partners
• Engage relevant internal Red Hat resources on training, education, and readiness programs for distributors and downstream partners
• Collaborate with teams in other vertical markets to promote their business objectives
• Define and manage the investments required to implement long-term growth initiatives with partner accounts
Required skills
• 14+ years of relevant experience in channel sales and partner management in the North India region
• Masters degree in business or a related field
• Ability to form relationships with C-level executives in partner organizations
• Solid knowledge of solutions providers and SIs and existing relationships with similar organizations
• Ability to sell solutions with basic technical competence
• Experience with conflict management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Sales experience in managing the customer relationship and the ability to guide business conversation with customers
