As the PHP Developer Magento , you have extensive expertise in PHP programming using the Symfony framework. You re open to learning or deepening your expertise in the Magento ecommerce platform. You have experience being a mentor to... junior developers and working closely with internal business partners to develop and integrates disparate technologies and services, interfacing with cloud and on-premise infrastructure. The Society, under the auspices of NEJM Group, publishes the New England Journal of Medicine, a leading global medical journal and web site, and NEJM Journal Watch alerts and publications covering 12 specialties. Responsibilities Develop and architect solutions in Magento Enterprise including building modules and plugins which integrate with external services.Work on highly distributed, scalable, high transaction systems with micro service architectures within a cloud infrastructure.Work on high-volume, low-latency RESTful APIs in AWS and Mulesoft platform.Work as a member of an Agile SCRUM development team, assisting in planning, designing, developing and implementing new functionality based on business needs.Follow and implement SDLC processes like code reviews, coding standards, unit testing, etc.Remain informed of current trends and technology developments.Continuously improve the application development processes and tools.Required ExperienceA Bachelors degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or similar and 5 years of software engineering experience is required.Advance level experience in Symfony is required.Experience with AWS or other public cloud provider, containerized deployments, Kubernetes, and working in DevOPS environment is required.A track record of building scalable, high-quality systems in cloud and hybrid cloud environments to support consumer business is required.Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills.Experience with HTML5, CSS.
