National Railroad Passenger Corporation (Amtrak) has an opening for Principal HR Technology Analyst in Washington DC.
Job Duties: Provide SAP HR and Successsfactors technical and functional support and maintenance. Work closely with IT and play a crucial role in delivering HCM customer-centric technology solutions to the organization. Support HR to ensure data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for best practices and process improvement. Lead HR SAP projects often including a cross-functional team in order to enhance existing applications or install new ones to support the delivery of HR services and/or upgrade the company’s employee management information system. Assist HR Technology leadership team in partnering with IT, Payroll and Finance technology liaisons to discuss and resolve employee master data requirements necessary to execute changes to Payroll and/or Financial applications. Work with HR partners, IT and client organizations to develop rollout plans for the deployment of new SAP functionalities. Assess the effectiveness of SAP and Successfactors applications in supporting the organization’s business needs and recommends alternatives where necessary. Work with clients to assess, and determine their data needs and advises and/or assist clients with development of business workflow processes associated with utilizing SAP HR applications, including coordination with teams, developing test plans and implementation strategy. Implement and coordinate business process changes, data accuracy audits and end user training. Coordinate the development of training programs that support end users in the use of employee master data and reporting. Serve as an advisor in regards to change management practices and understands knowledge transfer and communication techniques to help drive a change management focus among SAP users and management. Assess the effectiveness of non-SAP/ad hoc systems in relation to the capability of SAP HR systems in order to ensure that Amtrak’s ROI is being maximized.
Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Programming/Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field followed by seven years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or seven years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation. Position also requires experience in the following: 1) SAP HCM (PA, OM, US Benefits); 2)SuccessFactors (Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance/Goal management, Succession Planning, Learning, Compensation); 3) SAP US Payroll (Gross-to-Net Payroll, Payroll Schema, Rules, Off-cycle Payrolls, Post payroll processes including FI Posting; 4) SAP Time Management (Work Schedule Rules, Absence/Attendance management, Quota generation, CATS, Time Evaluation, Time schema and rules customization); 5) General Human Capital (HR) and U.S. Payroll/Time Management; 6) Programming languages such as SAP ABAP, Workflow, Web Dynpro ABAP, UI5, Fiori UI/UX, and XML. This position requires pre-employment background verification, medical review and pre-employment drug screen.
