Full Job Description
A Moving Experience.

Responsibilities:

Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities

Review product requirements, user experience specifications, technical design specifications for testability.

Flashing/updating embedded software into target head units.

Create test specifications out of the requirement documentation.

Conduct test plan/case review with cross-functional teams to ensure the test coverage.

Execute test... plans/cases for the given projects and deliver them on time with high quality.

Analyze test results along with failure analysis.

Develop automation test scripts in Python

Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved

May require to collaborate with multiple teams on different continents.

Escalate issues, concerns, and risks in a timely manner to Project manager and QA manager.

Perform tasks related to securing and keeping the products, tools, and processes that you are responsible for secure

Maintain test setups for embedded components (testbench and car)

Solve integration and configuration issues of hardware and software of test setups

Reproduce issues and verify fixes in the test environment in collaboration with the system developers

Identify gaps in the test plan and improve them with every release

Qualifications and Experiences:

Ideally 2-5 years of relevant work experience in Manual and Automation testing.

Excellent analytical skills and experience with implementation and administration of Quality Assurance metrics, such as defect profiles and performance to entry/exit criteria

Strong and extended experience in the use and implementation of Automation protocols, tools, and techniques

Experience working in organizations using Agile / Scrum-based product development methodologies is highly desirable

Previous experience with software development and quality engineering in the automotive industry is highly desired

Excellent problem-solving skills and strong self-reliance

Exceptional attention to detail, interpersonal communication, and project management skills

Excellent team player and possesses a can-do attitude .

Self-motivated, responsible, accountable and have the discipline to bring tasks into closure.

Experience to solve issues on embedded operating systems like Linux, Andriod or QNX

Experience with embedded HW in the Automotive domain

Ability to cover occasional peak demands

Affinity to solve hardware and real-time OS related issues

Excellent oral communication skills in English since major system test language is English

Understanding of QA related processes and experience with bug tracking systems

Good programming skills - preferably Python.
