Clear-Com is currently looking for an Software Tester . You will be responsible for performing complex tasks to develop and apply system, integration, regression test requirements on products and for reporting defects. You will also develop and implement test plans, write test cases, procedures, and automatic test scripts, and analyze and document test results. The Clear-Com Integration and Test Team ’s primary responsibility is to verify the designed products for compliance with the specification, and to see the product through to release. Secondary responsibilities include third line customer support.

What You Will Do In The Position
• Investigating customer problems with existing products containing software or firmware reported by end-user, Sales, Marketing, Service Division or Engineering.
• Assist development engineers by reproducing defects reported by customers in a released product.
• Design and develop, maintain, execute, and report internally on test cases for the various product releases.
• Aggressively performs black-box testing of released products or products under development to reveal defects and design problems.
• Manage defects throughout the life cycle of iterative software and hardware releases using TargetProcess.
• Define and perform unit or automation tests on components and objects of a given firmware/software project.
• Use test tools to assess the audio quality and data integrity of the products.
• Maintain knowledge of current and future Clear-Com and Trilogy projects.

What You Will Need To Succeed In This Position
• Proven experience as a Test Engineer/Software Engineer.
• Experience with system testing, IP, networking, and SIP.
• The ability to create, organize, execute and verify complex test cases based on specifications delivered by design engineers.
• Thorough knowledge of testing methodologies and troubleshooting techniques for both software and hardware issues.
• Understanding of product life cycle including agile, waterfall, and V models.
• Experience working in an Agile team environment.
• Understanding of automated testing using the latest tools available.
• Experience with Javascript and Cucumber.
• Proficient in communication and writing skills.
• Knowledge of Linux operating system internals an advantage.
• 3+ years’ experience in a related field.
• BA or BS (college graduate) - preferred related field.
